Tell Your State Senator: Eliminate polystyrene to-go containers and cups

The Colorado state Senate is voting this week on our bill to ban polystyrene to-go food containers and cups: SB243. Polystyrene, what most of us call Styrofoam, is a particularly harmful form of plastic pollution that harms fish, birds, mammals and earthworms. It takes 500 years or more to break down.

We only have two weeks to get our bill passed before the legislative sessions ends. We need the State Senate to approve SB243 this week.
